2022-2023 Homeroom Parent Opportunity

Calling all parent volunteers!  We need homeroom parents to help our teachers this year. Clearances are mandatory.  Responsibilities include:

• Attend one mandatory training meeting on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 7 pm in the school cafeteria.

• Attend your classroom’s Back-to-school night where you will collect parent contact information (so you can create a communication list) and make a brief presentation to parents about a variety of PTO happenings.

• Coordinate with teachers to help plan classroom parties.

• Collect monetary donations for class parties.  Budget and plan snacks and activities for class parties.

• Attend field day with your classroom.

• Communicate with families as needed for a variety of PTO topics.

• Attend monthly PTO meetings.

To apply, complete our online application after you determine your child’s teacher.  

If you have more than one child and are willing to volunteer where needed, please fill out the application form for each class. The link will be open until Saturday morning August 20, 2022.  The homeroom parent committee will reach out to the selected HR Parents the following week.
